Elizabeth Cady Stanton - A biography of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and her contribution to the the Suffrage movement.  A brief introduction to her family life, her politcal writings, and her arguments in defense for the suffrage movement.  A paragraph is written on how she was perceived by her contemporaries.

Susan B. Anthony - perhaps one of the greatest key figures in the movement, Susan B. Anthony, gave her life to the cause of women's freedom and their right to vote.  This site provides a biography of the life of Susan B. Anthony and her works to the cause, as well as her achievements.  Although see didn't live to see the consummation of her work she was with the movement to the end in spirit.  She had molded and shaped the movement with the help of others for the realization of equal rights.  This site includes an essay by her niece that speaks of her gifts.  A great site for those looking for infomation regarding Susan B. Anthony.

National Women's Hall of Fame: Carrie Chapman Catt - a brief biography of the suffragist who contributed to the success of the movement.

75 Suffragists - A brief description of 75 of the most famous and powerful suffragist who led the movement int he early of the 20th century and led to the eventual 19th amendment that granted freedom for women.

History of the American Suffragist Movement - the page of a textbook written on the Suffrage Movement.  This page will contain links to some of its excerpts and documents, as well as a timeline and index to guide the reader.  One will be able to buy the textbook as well if he/she chooses.

American Experience: Suffrage History - a great source for information.   Provides an in depth consideration of the Suffrage Movement.  Links include the origins of the movement, their strategies, the West Pioneers in the movement, NAWSA, the progressivism of the movement, Alice Paul and the National Woman's Party, Carrie Chapman Catt and the "Winning Plan".  One of the better sites in the subject matter.

Votes for Women: 1850-1920 - a great source for prints and photographs, as well as a search engine that will search for any topic relating to the Suffrage Movement.   It includes a bibliography for additional works.

Women Win the Vote -  includes profiles of the Suffragists, an essay that gives a new look at the suffrage movement and how it has affected future generation, important dates are examined, and those men behind the women are also accredited for their roles in the movement that contributed to the success of the movement and its eventual outcome.  Another great site that offers a lot of research material and a new look at the movement.

One Hundred Years toward Suffrage: An Overview - a timeline of the Suffrage movement from the very beginning in 1776 by Abigail Adams to the 1920's where the movement has finally reached its apex onto the eventual passing of the 19th amendment that grants women the right to vote. A bibliography offers abundant research material for those interested.

Women's Suffrage - a brief introduction that includes a link to learn more about the famous convention in Seneca Falls and Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. A link to the arguments brought up by anti-Suffragists and their fears.  Sources and bibliography are present to add to one's research.

War of the Roses: Ratification of the 19th Amendment  - this site is dedicated to the battles and confrontations experienced by the suffragists in Tennessee over women's suffrage.

Western Australian Centenary of Women's Suffrage 1899-1999 - gaining an early start in women's rights to vote in Australia before most other countries does not mean they did not have to fight and carry a suffrage movement.  These site will provide the answers to questions often asked. It provides, in chronological order, the key milestones the women in Western Austrailia went through to gain their right to vote.

British Suffragette Movement - contrary to what women were perceived to behave, a group of brave suffragists took to the streets in a militant fashion.  This extreme behavior eventually helped the women in Britain to be granted freedom on January of 1918.  This site will go through the history of this organization and their eventual outcome in their favor.

Women's Suffrage in Britain - a collection of categorized book references on the suffrage movement in Britain.   References for anti-suffragist materials, and the movement itself.

Suffragists: Women Who Worked for the Vote: - a collection of essays organized in this site to those people who fought for the cause behind the scenes urging changes in the political world in New Zealand.  Links are included to give the reader a background in the New Zealand Suffrage Movement and a timeline is included.
